Hi! We are a family of five amazing travelers from northern Italy wishing to explore the world together as we get older :)
I am Arianna and together with my husband Fabrizio we have three "kids": Olivia, 25 years old, she's a young computer engineer passionate about photography and travels, Margherita, 23 years old is our sporty girl, she is very determined and she is studying management engineering. Last but not least our youngest is Dario, almost 18. He is the guru of history and he is also a reenactor, we love ask him stories about historical places we visit.
We love our city and we have traveled with Homelink for years now. We believe traveling by living in people's houses is a unique experience that we wish to carry on as long as we can. Hope you like our place!

We live in a Unesco Heritage City, just 5 minutes from the historic centre of one of the most beautiful renaissance city of Italy.
The city is 30 kms far from Garda Lake, 40km from Verona, 150 from Venice and Milan. Is the perfect starting point for visiting the northern regions!
The railway station is close to our apartment.
You can reach Garda Lake by bike starting from the cycle route behind our house.
In our town you will find a lot of historical cultural attractions (Palazzo Ducale and Palazzo Te in 300mt; S.Andrea Cathedral 100mt), nice natural environment (Mantua is surrounded by three Lakes. The lake is just beyond our house) and northern food specialities. You can also do shopping or walking, running or eat food typical of Mantua in fine restaurants or in country fairs. Near our house there is a SUP renting place where you can experience the contact with our lakes at sunset.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We live in Belfiore, a very nice and very quiet neighborhood literally behind the lake. The center is 10 minutes by bike (we recommend moving with bikes as it easy and direct through the bike lanes) and 2 minutes by car. The main streets are at few minutes from our house. By walking you can easily reach some of the most important artistic operas such as Palazzo Te (designed by Giulio Romano) or Palazzo Ducale, the Basilica of S. Andrea (designed by L.B. Alberti). Mantua is sourrounded by three lakes and you can enjoy yourself by walking, riding a bike or rent a Stand Up Paddle!

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
We live in Mantua, one of the most beautiful reinassence cities of the northern Italy, Unesco heritage.
The town is crossed by the motorway and nearby the GardaLake (30kms from here), Verona (40 km), Venice (150km), Milan (200 km but the train is comfortable and cheap).
You can also go to the GardaLake by the cycleway that you can take behind our home (are 40kms by bike).
Our town offers a lot of leisures and entertainments: restaurants (Mantua is very known for the the excellent wine and food such as tortelli, agnolini, risotto, mostarda, cotechino, salame, Elvezia cake....), museums (Palazzo Te, Palazzo Ducale, Basilica di S. Andrea, all at 500/700 mt from here) and a natural environment (Mantua is surrounded by three lakes around which you can walk)
