We are a couple in 70s who enjoy traveling to experience new sights, cultures, food et drink. We treat exchange homes with great respect and have always found that to be reciprocated. We have enjoyed well over 30 exchanges: France,Norway, England, Iceland, Canada, Israel, Holland , Sweden, Spain, Germany, Scotland.. and have had great success with each exchange
We are open to non simultaneous exchanges. On occasion our 2 adult children or a friend's couple accompany us but we are rarely more than 4 adults. Because of allergies we have no pets and cannot exchange with homelinkers who require pet care.

Central and spacious apartment next to the historic city, close to shops and supermarkets. The apartment is in the new part of Alghero, next to the bus station, and the main attractions of the city. Alghero is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and lively cities in Sardinia. A great starting point to visit the island.

We had a great visit to Alghero and region. Our exchanger's spacious home is just minutes from every convenience and a short walk or drive to lovely beaches. We recommend going the extra distance, at least once to see La Pelosa is Stintino. Georgeous! Historical Alghero is charming and an easy walk to the heart of the action. Depending on the timing, you can see the artisanal market that has a delicious array of local goods. It's an enjoyable stroll along the waterfront. Be sure to put Il Corallo in your dining plans. Tasty and beautiful presented meals with excellent service. Our host's home had every amenity and the outdoor balcony made al fresco dining such a joy. It was a great base for lots of exploring and was easy to manage in every way. We had a fun and memorable trip...a delight for the senses.

We are very polite and respectful of others properties; we like clean houses and people respectful of our property.
We have already swapped our house many times and so far : eveything went fine.
As we travel by train, we like to stay close to the center of the city with good public transportation. No remote countryside.
