Dear Elisa and Carlo, Thank you for sharing your home with us. We have tried to arrange an exchange in Italy for many years and this was the first one we were able to work out. We loved that we could do day trips into Venice and park your car on the Island garage. We also enjoyed touring the many towns nearby during our stay. Your home was so clean and well organized it was a joy to live in. Your car was well maintained and the garage parking in your home made parking simple. Sincerely Allan and Margaret

HomeLinker since 2006 - We have a second home in the Dolomites (Auronzo di Cadore): please see the listing dedicated to it.
LOOKING FOR WEEK END EXCHANGE IN EUROPE CAPITALS AND/OR MAJOR CITIES: BERLIN, VIENNA, BUDAPEST, PRAGUE, HELSINKI, OSLO, BARCELONA, MADRID ETC.
Veneto is the most touristic region of Italy. Many are the World Heritage Fund sites like: Verona (Romeo and Juliet city), Vicenza, the Dolomites, Venice, Venetian Villas etc.
We live in Paese in Treviso's area only 35 km from Venice and 1 and 1/2 hour driving from the Dolomites. Check for info the web sites: www.veneto.to; www.turismo.provincia.treviso.it; ww.turismo.regione.veneto.it and also www.infodolomiti.it.
Daily excursions to the Dolomites are easy. Mountains are an hour driving from our place (Cansiglio's forest and the Prealps mountain and to S.Croce's lake, popular for windsurfing). Trekking excursions are also possible in the hills around Treviso, in the prosecco wine's area (Valdobbiadene, Conegliano).
