We live in a old roman Town, Padova, famous for old university and paintings of Giotto at Scrovegni's chapel.
In Padova cultural life is very active.
Padova is also in a strategic position to visit Venezia (1/2 hour by train); Vicenza, Verona and lake of Garda(1 hour), Milan and Florence (2 hours by train). Adriatic sea and Dolomites are 1 hour and 1/2 far. Our house is a big detached house just out of the center of padova, very near to the railway station. We bought a house not far from the station cause Ugo is Professor at Venice University and he has to reach the Economics departement quite every day and the best way to go is by train.
The centre of Padova can be easily reached by foot, or even by bike or bus in 10 minutes.
We had 20 fantastic swaps and we love the formula; we'll treat your home as ours. We are an open-minded family and we travel a lot and host a lot. We are also part of CISV, an international association born in Usa 60 years ago, which aim is to spread peace between people of the worlds and it reaches the goal by programs of interchange and camps involving the youngs. Our teenagers kids hade many interchanges and camps with Cisv, in Colorado, in Jordan, in Sweden, in France.So, we are used to host people by us, also foreigners students or professors with whom Ugo deals for job.
As from September 2018 Just me and my husband are at home cause our Kids are studying abroad.
Our house is a detached house of 3 floors, each of 120 m2, with a little garden.
On the ground floor there is a garage, a big laundry and a big room with many windows that gives to the garden, equipped with a kitchen, a firewall and a sofa
On the first floor there is a studio, a living-room, a toilette and a big kitchen equipped with a sofa and TV too.
On the second floor you find 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. A/C available
