I am Jeanette and I was born and raised in Vienna. My husband Franz is from Italy (South Tyrol) where we use to spend several weeks over the year. See our other apartment in Meran which is also available for exchange. We have 2 sons (born 2013 and 2017). In my sparetime I do a lot of sports and yoga.
We are a regular familiy I guess, enjoying regular things like hanging out with friends, having nice food, nice wine and good company.
Franz is a solicitor for a big european company and I am a online media editor for a big public institution in Austria.
If requested we can give all kinds of tipps towards vienna. If you have more time the rest of Austria with it's beautiful lakes and mountains is worth a visit.

The Apartment (about 85qm, attic) is located in a new building in the center of Schenna, next to Meran. There is one major bedroom and one children's room with a single bed and a crib. For some more sleeping opportunities we provide a nice and soft sofa with space for 2. Bathroom with shower and tub, new kitchen with all amenities you need. Our Apartment has been planned by an architect, cosyness was central. Furniture is rather minimalistic. Regretably the flat is not accessible for people who have difficulty walking, since a steepish winding stair leads up to it.
No washing machine, but laundry service available.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We are located in the center of Schenna, 5 min downhill by car to Meran. There are lots of restaurants, supermarket, Farmacy, Bank, Post, Gelateria within walking distance (5-10min). There are some busstops just right around corner. Playground across the street. There are also some beautiful footpaths nerby. Since Schenna is up the hill, you are able to enjoy a amazing view down the valleys. Right on the other side of the street you can find a nice Restaurant. Next Skiing Area is 10 min. off by car (Meran 2000). Plenty of hiking trails and cable cars very close.
