It is the first time that we have tried the home exchange experience, but we have already hosted in our house guys from other countries.

Read More...I had an amazing stay at Guido's apartment. The apartment is located in Vomero, which is a busy neighborhood on top of a hill on the outskirts of the city centre. Vomero has a vast number of cafeterias and restaurants and I tried a few of them which didn't disappoint. I rented a scooter so I was able to go travel in and out of the city pretty easily, otherwise is about 40 mins walk at a good pace. On the first day, I met Guido and his wife who gave me a very warm welcome. They left some Italian delicatessen that I really enjoyed. The apartment is within a gated community with a security man 24/7 which was ideal. The apartment itself was clean and had all I needed for the week, the only thing is that the wifi connection was quite poor but luckily I got by with my phone's internet for online meetings and work. Guido was available if I needed anything during my stay as they live nearby. Overall a really good experience.

Read More...We had a most enjoyable stay at Guido's apartment in beautiful Naples. The neighborhood was the perfect location for us with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, and the metro on the doorstep. From the apartment it was very easy to reach the old town by foot and funicular, and to get to places further away like Pompei and Sorrento. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and had lovely sunny balcony. Guido's communication was excellent and him and his family were very welcoming, his nephew collected us from the Airport and his daughter met us on our arrival which we really appreciated. Guido gave us very good recommendations on what to see and do in Naples and was available at all times to answer our questions. Our family made lovely memories during our stay, thank you so much to Guido and his family for making this such a special exchange.

Read More...My two daughters (13 and 16 years old) and myself spent a wonderful time in Naples. Thanks to Guido and his family who came to pick us up at the airport and then took us to a restaurant on our first evening. Best way to start our journey! Also, their apartment with two bedroom was confortable and especially cool (air-conditioning). The immediate neighborhood was quiet and we loved the grocery store just beside the residence where we used to buy our diner. Most important to us, the nearest subway station Quattro Giornate is 2 minutes away by walk and its line n.1 goes directly to most of the touristic sites (Archeological museum, Spanish quarters, ...), harbor (boats to Capri, Ischia and Procida) and even the central train station (Pompei, ...). Extremely convenient!
