The cliffs and the wild Atlantic Ocean made a big impression on us. Dolphins played in the surf off the Bridges of Ross. We were amazed by the huge sandy beaches, for example Doonbegbay. Thank you for these experiences.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
4 bedroom family house set on 0.4 acre. Our house is spacious (2,500 sq ft) and has a large, fully equipped kitchen, with an adjacent utility room with washer and dryer, a living room with wood and peat burning stove, and two family rooms. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms (one bedroom en suite). Each bedroom has a double bed. There is a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The rear of the house is south facing and has a large patio together with a large garden.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our home is set in farmland on a quiet road in the countryside that is 4 miles from the centre of Limerick city The city is over 800 years old and houses castles, museums, open air Saturday markets, good restaurants and pubs with live music. Shannon airport is 25 minutes drive, while Bunratty Castle is 20 minutes. We are 10 miles from the prehistoric site of Loch Gur while there are lots of hiking and walking opportunities close by. The historic town of Killaloe is 15 miles away while Cork and Dublin are 1.5 and 2 hours by car. Killarney is 1.5 hours by car.
