The road is a residential road, close to shops, supermarkets and the park. There is frequent public transport and the main routes out of the city are easily accessible. The Phoenix Park, one of the largest walled city parks in Europe is within walking distance, as are the Light House Cinema, Mulligans (gastro pub), The Hole in the Wall Pub and Restaurant and the Cobblesone Pub (Irish music).

The Phoenix Park is 10 minutes walk away. There you will find Farmleigh House (the former home of the Guinness family) and Dublin Zoo.
The Light House Cinema and the Cobblestone Pub famous for its live Irish music are in nearby Smithfield (20 minutes walk or hop on the frequent buses that pass the door).
The city centre is 25 minutes walk from the house or a short bus journey. Dublin city centre offers sights such as Trinity College and the book of Kells, Dublin Castle, the National Gallery of Ireland, the National Library of Ireland and the National Museum of Ireland and the Guinness Storehouse.
