Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Scenic seafront home (285 sq.m) in a quiet area beside the Atlantic coast, along the Wild Atlantic Way. County Kerry is famous for scenery and is a tourism hub. The highest mountain range in Ireland is visible from the house. Lakes nearby also. Swimming in the sea, fishing in local rivers, cycling and walking. Our House is totally child friendly with a playroom and garden ideal for children. Trampoline, swings, small football goals, large back garden. The nearest shop is 2 minutes drive and the local town of Killorglin is 6 minutes drive. Open canoe for 4 people, and 2 smaller canoes, with life jackets, etc. Local pub and restaurant 25 minutes walk. Killarney town is 30 minutes drive. All modern appliances. Our car is a 7 seat Citroen C4 Picasso.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Our home is on the Iveragh Peninsula, which is a natural landscape of hill, forest, blanket bog, river, lake and sandy beach. Lapped by the warm Gulf Stream, it enjoys exceptionally mild winters and is home to sub-tropical vegetation rare at this latitude. The peace and tranquility of the area make it an ideal location for those who wish to get away from busy city life. The peninsula is synonymous with the famous Ring of Kerry. Any one of the stopping points along this beautiful route make an idyllic holiday destination. The Ring of Kerry, a journey of some 180km (110 miles) is easily accessed from the gateway of our home.
