Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our house is located in a quiet area of a little town in the south of Munich, Bavaria.
The railway station is very close, so you can reach the City of Munich or some beautiful areas in the bavarian alps very easily and quickly.
Our home is not far from lake Tegernsee (30 min), the historical city of Bad Tölz (30min) and some great hiking trails.
There is also the Autobahn nearby, so you can drive to Salzburg (1h), Landshut (1h) or other famous cities.
Holzkirchen has many Restaurants, all kinds of supermarkets, and a Swimming bath.
There are lots of cycle tracks, and about 15 minutes from home you can reach a lake for Swimming and sun bathing.

In our neighborhood there are forests, fields and nice little villages for walking and exploring.
There is a market place, where twice a weak you can buy all kinds of local specialties.
Our home is located in a residential zone, all of our neighbors are kind, helpful and speak english.
There is also a little mall, if you want to do some shopping.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From Holzkirchen it´s only a 20 minutes ride (by train) to the city of Munich.
Munich is famous for the museums, the old buildings (Rathaus, Frauenkirche, Residenz) and the ZOO.
There is also a mountain ZOO nearby, a place where you can go camel riding, and the river Isar, where you can rent a canou.
In the center of Holzkirchen (15 minutes walk) you can find restaurants, ice cream shops, baceries, cafe´s, supermakets, bars and wine bars.
