We are a married couple and love to combine travelling and working from abroad. Since ca. 15 years we are passionate members of the homeexchange organisation "Homelink" and experienced already about 20+ international home exchanges which have all been very successful for both sides :-)
We are also experienced homesitters. Just ask us for our references for homeexchange and homesitting with animal-care and garden care.
We did many homeexchanges with our son, but as he is grown up (22) now, he moved out. Therefore we are more flexible now as we do not depend on school holidays anymore.
In our leisure time Christoph loves reading, good music while I love Yoga, I am studying Ayurveda. We both like meeting people, family, discovering new places, hiking, cooking, sustainable living ideas.
Sometimes our son and his girlfriend or our parents will travel with us but usually we will travel just the 2 of us.

Green Hideaway in a peaceful and privileged neighborhood . You have the Black Forest with hiking and bicycle trails at your doorstep while its just a short 25 minutes walking distance to the beautiful medieval city-center!
Explore 3 countries in 1 visit: Swiss (Basel 50 minutes, Zürich 2h), France/Alsace (Straßbourg 50 minutes, Colmar 40 minutes), Germany (Heidelberg 2h,Baden-Baden 1h, Lake Constance 1h30). Week-end or day trips to Swiss ski resorts or Lago Maggiore (Italy) possible.
You find 3 big supermarket (one is an huge organic store) and several little shops like pharmacie, bakers etc., weekly farmers market around the corner in walking distance. Also the tram -stop which brings You directly in 12 minutes to the citycenter is very closed.There are 2 very nice outdoor-public swimmingpools situated in green parcs with playgrounds in walking/bicycle-distance, also several indoor public swimmingpools in the city.
