Hallo!

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We live in a spacious 3-room apartment on the second floor of a typical Berlin apartment building: two bedrooms, one living room and a large kitchen.
The neighborhood is busy with many cafes, restaurants and small stores; right next to us is the most famous of the old Berlin market halls. There are several parks around the corner and good connections to Berlin Mitte (the subway stop Görlitzer Bahnhof is 8 minutes walk, several bus stations are close).
There is a changing table and a baby crib in the living room if needed, as well as a small French balcony.
Since the kitchen is very large and has a small couch, it is our favorite place when we have guests.
The apartment is in a good renovated condition.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
We live directly above the most famous of Berlin's historic market halls, Markthalle 9, where special markets (Sweets Market, Streetfood Market, Breakfast Market) are held regularly and many people come to see them. There are many small galleries and museums in the area, one of the nicest restaurants nearby is the 3 Schwestern in the historic Bethanien complex. The Berlin Wall was also very close to our apartment, today there is a long green path as well as a beautiful basin (Engelsbecken), on the shore of which you can drink coffee.
There are many cafes, especially if you walk towards the canal, for example La Maison, where there is a long queue when the weather is nice. On Tuesdays and Fridays there is a vegetable market on the waterfront (Maybachufer), and on Saturdays there is a fabric market, all three are very worth seeing!
The ice cream parlors in the area are also highly recommended, from zàgara to Aldemir to duo siciliano, it's hard to pick a favorite!

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
Since no one lives across the hall and there is a Späti below us, it is not a big problem that the neighbors hear too much. However, music should not be played too loudly in the kitchen, as our neighbor's bedroom is above it.
Please leave the apartment broom clean and provide the usual respect for furniture, etc., but that probably goes without saying :)
