We loved our first swap. We felt like at home!!! Michael and Uta prepared a very warm welcome full of details for our stay. Everything was really well prepared and clean. During our stay we had a fluid communication, and got a lot of recommendations to take the most of our visit. We really enjoyed the black forest and wouldn't mind to go back some other time!

Un grand merci à la famille Krubel pour ce merveilleux échange. La maison est idéalement située, moins d'une heure de la route des vins d'Alsace et surtout au pied de la Forêt Noire. La maison est très bien équipée, l'endroit est calme, la mare avec les poissons est très reposante. La communication entre les deux familles a été parfaite pour se donner le maximum de conseils pour apprécier au mieux cet échange. Merci à vous. Stéphane et Marie

We really enjoyed our first home exchange with Uta and Mike: their hospitality, the comfort of their home and the company of their cat Lucky. The house is very well located to enjoy the Schwartzwald (hiking, biking, trail) and to visit the villages and towns on the German and French sides. There is no lack of recreational areas: Europapark and numerous aquatic centers. Thanks again to Uta and Mike for their advices. All in all, great memories for our children and us. Wir hatten eine entspannte Woche in Eurem lichtdurchfluteten Haus und haben den idyllischen Garten sehr genossen. Die Kinder hatten Spaß, Kater und Fische zu versorgen, etliche Pétanque-Runden zu spielen und einige Gesellschaftsspiele aus Eurer üppigen Sammlung auszuprobieren. Da das Wetter mitspielte, konnten wir den Reichtum Eurer Region an Outdoor-Möglichkeiten entdecken: Die Wanderungen im Schwarzwald (keltischer Baumpfad direkt in Oberachern, Klosterruine Allerheiligen, Gaishöll-Wasserfälle), Europa-Park, Straßburg - und natürlich der Abenteuerspielplatz in Achern haben uns sehr angetan. Auch eine kleine Weinprobe war dabei. Wir kommen nach Hause mit vielen schönen Erinnerungen und bedanken uns bei Euch für den herzlichen Empfang und die unkomplizierte Kommunikation.

Many thanks to Uta and Michael for their hospitality and allowing this exchange. We have had to wait more than a year (for the Covid), but it has been worth it. We have felt very comfortable in his nice and bright house, taking care of his cat, Lucky, who is very affectionate, and the fish in his pond. Enjoying his garden, tomatoes and raspberries. From the house, in a very quiet and well-connected area, we have been able to visit very beautiful cities and towns such as Baden Baden, Overkirch, Gengenbach, Freiburg ... and Strasbourg, Riquewich, Colmar in the French Alsace. Throughout our exchange, communication has been very fluid with interesting information that has facilitated our stay. Without a doubt, a very interesting experience that we would like to repeat. Thanks again for your kindness.

Achern am rande des Schwarzwald war ein prima startpunkt fur unsere Sommerferrien 2020 und um die Schwarzwald umgebung zu entdecken. Wir sind auch u.a. in die Schweiz und Frankreich, Strasbourg gefahren. Das haus und der garten sind sehr schon und raum und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die familie Krubel hat viele prospekte von der umgebung fur uns da gelassen, und mittels Whattsapp hatten wir viehl kontact. Wir haben uns gerne um die Koi’s und der Tomcat Lucky gekummert. Als wir wieder in unserem haus zuruck kehrten war alles sauber und hatten Sie eine karte mit ein pahr kleine Geschenke fur uns hinterlassen. Vielen dank!

durften wir bei Uta und Michael verbringen. Wir haben uns in ihrem gemütlichen Haus so richtig wohlgefühlt. Es war alles toll für uns vorbereitet. Und der Kontakt war immer sehr herzlich. Wir haben sehr schöne familiengerechte Wanderpfade gemacht und es gab tolle Möglichkeiten für Tagesausflüge für jedes Wetter. Eine Woche war viel zu kurz um alles zu erleben …. wir freuen uns auf einen weiteren Tausch :-)

It's a shame. We were very excited about this exchange, but the situation of covid19 and the confinement has not allowed it. We hope that next year everything is better and we can do it. Our best wishes..
