Tuchan is a small, peaceful town with plenty of local amenities, including an artisan baker, supermarket, butcher, library, restaurant, bar/cafe, and nearby campsites with swimming pools and bars. The town is in a pretty valley, surrounding by vineyards, hilltop towns, and Cathar castles. Rock pools with swimming access are just a short drive away, and the Pyrenees, the Mediterranean, and the Spanish boarder are within an hour by car. Perpignan, Carcassonne, Toulouse, and Dali's house and museum are within two hours drive.
