Between 1998 and 2007 we did 10 home-exchanges and loved them. Now we're ready to start again. Our boys (19 and 15) have grown up doing home-exchanges so they are very respectful. We love to travel and to welcome guests in our home.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Sunny and huge apartment in a cosmopolitan and lively neighborhood by the canal of Ourcq, perfect for a family of four or more, or three couples.
Three different Métro lines downstairs (2, 5 & 7), we are 10 minutes from Opéra, 5 minutes from Montmartre. Also nearby Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord for international and national trains. 45 minutes by RER from Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Our apartment is big and well-equipped: three bedrooms with double beds. All bedrooms face the yard (typical of XIXth Paris) while the living-room gives on the avenue. Bedrooms are thus quiet and sunny.
Kid-friendly, with a piano and a working fireplace.
Long balcony overlooking the avenue. Two bathrooms, one with a bath (and a drying rack over it) one with a shower (parental bedroom), both with toilets.
On the 5th and 6th floor, no lift - but large stairs. We once had a very pregnant guest :no problem whatsoever.
Free Wifi, one computer available for the guests.
We are experienced home-exchangers, since 1998.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our neighborhood is lively, no big touristic attractions, but real Parisian life.
Lots of restaurants by the canal (2minutes away from our home), we are 5 minutes away (by bike or métro) from Buttes Chaumont Park, or La Villette Cité des Sciences and its big beautiful park (outdoor free cinema during the summer).
Enjoy the canal and its Paris Plage (nautical activities during summer). Also near to the 104 and its many exciting cultural proposals.
Lots of food shops nearby (two mini-markets opened on Sundays, a aupermarket closing at 10 PM every night
