Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Walk to the Eiffel Tower from our large, sunny apartment. We are lucky. We have lovely views out the front and back of our 2 bedroom apartment and a balcony for warm days. You can even see the Eiffel Tower when it sparkles at night reflected in the building behind us! Our tastes are simple but we have super appliances and our walls are covered with Marilyn's colorful paintings which she exhibits in Paris as well as others cities.
Close to bus and metro lines, in a lively neighborhood, 2 blocks from the Seine, and 15 minutes from Notre Dame. Our neighborhood is real-life Paris, full of restaurants, cafes, outdoor food markets, surprises of beauty, but not many tourists.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
In the square Charles Michels at our corner you find bistros, brasseries, three buses to all the sites which run at night as well as the day, a metro to everywhere, a Pharmacy, 3 Banks with ATMs and a super backery! Just steps down the streets are our favorite mom and pop shops for meat, poultry, fruits and. vegetables and chocolates. On Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday there are open air markets. You do not have to leave our little corner of "real" Paris but if you want to you can be at Notre Dame in 15 minutes. You can walk to the Eiffel tower and to the beautiful Seine in minutes.
