> WE ARE LOOKING FOR A "SUN & SEA" EXCHANGE THIS JULY/AUGUST!
Our 1920s house with lush garden, a rare haven, offers the ideal base to visit Paris. After a hectic day exploring the city, relax in an exceptional green and quiet surrounding around a barbecue. A stone's throw to the charming Père Lachaise, the "Campagne à Paris" and the lively Ménilmontant (new hip area full of cool bars and restaurants). Paris is at the end of the street, 2mn walk away, 5mn to 2 metro stations. We have a little cat who just needs a bit of food and lots of strokes. And you can use our 2 bicycles (with baby-chair) , great to discover Paris differently...
We are looking for a sunny destination by the sea and we are open to any good ideas with a little girl of 9.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
You can get to the 19th district and "la Campagne à Paris" a residential area with cute late century houses on a small hill in 5 mn walk crossing over the ring road trough a couple of squares and parcs. The Père Lachaise Cemetery a haven in the city with huge trees alleys and romantic 19th century tombstones near the Gambetta roundabout is a couple metro stops away or 15mn walk. Two metro stations are about 5mn away east or west and take you to central Paris in 10mn. Also 20 meters down our street a Bus 76 will take you to Bastille and Chatelet, (very central), with a nice ride if you have some time and sunny weather to indulge in riding in Paris. Just accross the ring road, the new tram takes you around Paris to Cours de Vincennes (east) to Porte de Clignancourt ( flea and antiques markets - north).
