Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Nous sommes en train de déménager et mettrons à jour notre maison durant le mois d'octobre
We are moving and shall update our house during October

House 200m2, on a peaceful dead-end street, 200m from town center (pop. 17,500), only 1km from the train station leading to central Paris (in 40mn).
At only 32km from Orly Airport.
We were delighted with our previous exchanges in Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Amsterdam so we would like to continue to discover Europe.

Close to all amenities within walking distance (Bakery, butcher, hairdresser, florist, pharmacy, supermarket, market Saturday morning ....)
In a very quiet street (dead end for cars).
Terrace, barbecue.
4 Bicycles.

Paris by car or by RER 40 mnn.
At the heart of the city: The Villeroy Park with an area of 108 ha, with its cinema, playground for children, bike paths, ...
Marshes Juine and lower valley of the Essonne with preserved its bird watching areas.
The Forest of Fontainebleau in 1/4 hour drive, rocks to climb, to visit

Au cœur de la ville de Mennecy :
Le Parc Villeroy avec une superficie de 108 ha, avec son cinéma, jeux pour enfants, des pistes cyclables, son parcours sportif, piste de BMX, ses terrain de Tennis, la possibilité de visiter les anciennes canalisations ...
Marais Juine et la basse vallée de l'Essonne avec des zones d'observation des oiseaux, possibilité de pêcher (après avoir demander le permis)

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home

Le parc de Villeroy au coeur de la ville de Mennecy, accessible à pied depuis notre maison, offre à chaque ses divertissements (marche, jogging, aires de jeux, parcours sportif..)

La Forêt de Fontainebleau à 1/4 d'heure en voiture, ses rochers à escalader, son château à visiter.

Barbizon (à 1/4 d'heure en voiture), village d'artistes peintre au cœur de la forêt de Fontainebleau (nombreuse Galerie de peintures)

Milly la Forêt (à 1/4 d'heure en voiture), le marché de Milly-la-Forêt se tient tous les jeudis après-midi (tradition qui perdure depuis le XVe siècle) de 13h à 18h sous la Halle et sur la place du marché. Une soixantaine de commerçants vous proposent des produits frais, du linge de maison, des vêtements et beaucoup d’autres choses encore. On peut encore y visiter la maison et la chapelle décorée par Jean Cocteau.

Le chateau de Vaulx le Vicomte à 30 mn en voiture.
