We live in a pleasant and quiet house in the South-West of France, located among the Pessac- Léognan vineyards(vines) in the city of Léognan (10 000 inhabitants), near Bordeaux (12 km). Bordeaux presents a lot of touristical and cultural assets : historic center classified in the UNESCO world heritage, the facades of the 18th century and riversides decorated with numerous gardens. Beyond, the region offers many opportunities of escape:
_the wine trails, in particular in Léognan or near in the Médoc and Saint-Emilion
_the Atlantic Coast with various and beautiful places to ride and swim : the large bay of Arcachon with oyster farmings, the dune of Pilat, great oceanic beaches (Biscarosse, Cap ferret, Lacanau), lakes (Hourtin, Biscarosse) and pin forests.
_the estuary of the Gironde: fortress of Blaye, the troglodytic cities.
_the Dordogne eastward, rich in its historical heritage in particular to Sarlat-la-Canédat.
