From our house it is a 20 minute trip by train or car to the beautiful town of Arcachon with its famous Ville d'Hiver. It is also only a 20 minute drive to the Dune du Pyla which is the largest dune in Europe must be seen to be believed. Buses also run all day to the dune, beaches and surrounding villages.
