We live most of the year in Ireland and spend many weeks each year in France., but we like to visit other places too and we love the home exchange idea.
Our two adult daughters have their own families and visit us in France but do not travel with us on our exchanges , though our sister and her husband sometimes join us for a week on US exchanges.
(We like to spend two weeks in Southern USA in February /March most years)
We have had great exchanges with Los Angeles , Balaton ( Hungary) / Vienna , and Grayton Beach Florida. over the last five years.
Gassin is available most months of the year apart from July and late september - for Non-simultaneous or simultaneous exchange, but for 2020 only April and Oct / Nov / Dec remain available
We are already planning for 2021 and hoping for exchanges with Grayton Beach area and New Orleans or maybe Palm Springs / Ca.. Also Hamburg ( Blankenese area) and possibly Norway West coast and Nord Tirol
A 5 day trip to Hamburg or Amsterdam before Christmas would be very nice

Situated in The Domaine de Golf de St Tropez , just outside St Tropez in the neighbouring village of Gassin, surrounded by vineyards and a wooded hilly nature reserve.
The houses in the domaine were built 15 years ago in old Provençal style. Ours is an end of Terrace 3 story house.
There is a south facing floral garden with BBQ. In the near distance beyond the garden are wooded hills and the old village of Gassin itself, perched on one of these hills.
The house is c 1600sq feet (147sqm) and is distributed over 3 floors . The top floor comprises a master bedroom and en-suite which opens onto a solarium.
The other two double bedrooms open onto a 15sq m balcony with views to the hills.
There is a shaded deck and patio at ground level

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The most beautiful medieval villages of Gassin , Ramatuelle, Grimaud and St Tropez with it's famous Citadelle, Impressionist museum (L'annonciade), Place de Lice and Waterfront quays are all within five miles.
The Saturday and Tuesday markets in St Tropez are worth a visit. The other villages also have smaller more intimate markets, and Ramatuelle on a sunday is particularly attractive
Pampelonne sandy Beach with its simple but elegant restaurants is 12 minutes by car.
There are some wonderful vineyards within Gassin . These include Minuty, Barbeyrolles and Bertaud Belieu at the domaine entrance.
There are dozens of good restaurants to choose from.
If you stay longer in the area, Aix en Provence and Nice and the great villages of Mougin, Biot and St Paul de Vence are within 90 minutes drive. Marseille and Arles another 1/2 hour. It is unlikely that you will make more than one such trip, unless you are particularly single-minded as the immediate surroundings are so absorbing

Apart from the village markets, there are always the beaches, visits to the surrounding and more distant villages, visits to some sophisticated and other more traditional vineyards, walks along the coast, guided boat trips around the gulf of St Tropez , visit the Citadelle in St Tropez or the small but excellent Art Museum.
There are frequent art exhibitions in St Tropez , and Concerts during the summer in both Gassin and Ramatuelle
