I used to work in the chemical indusry, for national and multinational entities. My last job was managing private hospitals. Now retired, Christiane and I live close to Aix-en-Provence. We have three sons, one in Paris, one in Buenos Aires and one in NYC. We plan to visit him, his wife and kids, without staying in their flat.

In Provence's heart, 10 minutes from Aix-en-Provence and its attractions, a quiet retreat in the countryside, with large pool and garden. Beaches at less than 1 hour, Arles, Avignon, the Alpilles and Luberon at 1.5 hr. For up to 6 people.
Non simultaneous exchange possible, our house has 2 distinct units and we are flexible on dates.

We live in a very quiet area, with four other houses nearby (about 150 meters) and quiet neighbours.
Buses nearby connect us to Aix-en-Provence. There is a convenient store at 500 meters.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Within a 10 minutes' drive, you are in Aix-en-Provences's center with all its resources. You may walk around and look at the superb "Hôtels particuliers" the small streets and shaded squares, enjoy the museums, the concert hall, the Opera, stop at a sidewalk cafe and take a quiet look at the street scenes. If you prefer to be out-of-town, a 15 minutes drive will leave you in a beautiful natural park, the "Parc Naturel Sainte Victoire", with many beautiful paths ans spetacular scenery.
At about an hours'drive you may visit Arles , Avignon and spectacular Roman ruins.
If you prefer golf, there are three in the vicinity. If you like beaches, there are three less than an hour away, not far from an amusement park. Wether you want to see towns or walk in the countryside, you will not be disappointed. The most difficult is to choose between all the various activities available. If your choice is :"no activity " you may just lay by the pool. Do not hesitate to ask us about all the possibilities around.
