Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We live in a small fishing village on the coast. Nearly every day we walk the beach. Our dog runs free, and we meet our neighbors. Some days we do as much visiting as walking. Our “old town”is full of excellent restaurants. There is a clam chowder contest each year. We also have an events center with many cultural events. The town is full of retired artists,actors, and musicians. We are about1 hour out of Eugene, but really Florence has all we need. We also have 18 lakes nearby to explore.

We are about 1/2 mile from the beach. We see wind surfers in the winter. Kites in the summer. Bridgewater, Waterfront Depot, Restobar, and Pomodori are our favorite restaurants.
