We are a young couple from Copenhagen with no kids. We live seperately so we can lend my apartment out while staying in the other. I study German language and culture and my boyfriend works with educational politics.
We have no pets but we both ADORE cats and we would love to take care of a cat during our holidays :)

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Welcome to the heart of Nørrebro - my home and favourite place in Copenhagen! In this cute street you'll find plenty of inspiring independent boutiques, cafés, bars, restaurants as well as green spaces that invite young and old to activity. There's so much to do for free in this district and in Copenhagen in general and if you want to spend money, there's the award winning Michelin **starred restaurant "Relæ"litterally just around the corner. In the summer, the street Stefansgade is transformed into one big open air flea market. Check it out: I found almost my entire wardrobe here!
My home is located in a subsidized social housing project from 1942, drawn by the studio of Danish architect Kay Fisker - one of leading proponents of functionalism in Denmark (also drew Aarhus University). It's on the 6th floor and we have no lift in our building! The apartment consists of 2 rooms (1 bedroom, 1 living room), a bathroom and a clean - but not-yet modernized kitchen from 1942. It is possible to cook basic meals for 2-4 people here.
I have decorated my home with vintage treasures, plants and some handicraft from India and Nepal. I do not have a television, but I do have a very fast Internet connection :-)
The bed is relatively new and very comfortable!
Since I often stay in my boyfriend's apartment across town (he lives next to my university campus), I am flexible regarding dates. I'm travelling with my boyfriend and we are mostly looking for holiday opportunities close to nature or in the German cities - but we are really open to suggestions!
