Vi er en familie på 2 voksne: Arne er præst i den lokale folkekirke, Inger teamleder i et lokalt firma, som arbejder med vindenergi. Vi kan lide at tage på vandre- og cykelture, læse gode bøger og gå på museer. Vi har begge været engageret som frivillige ledere i FDF
Vi har to sønner og 3 børnebørn, så nu er vores hjem igen udstyret med sandkasse, gynger og et udvalg af legetøj og børnebøger.

The old fishing village Hjerting is a suburb of Esbjerg. Here lives 7.500 people, and there are good shopping opportunities for groceries (baker, butcher, colonial) The house is in a quiet neighborhood - half kilometers from child-friendly beach (Ho bay).

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From our house there is 1½ km to the beach/beach promenade, with a lot of outdoor facilities. 1 km to our favorite playground. Half an hour drive to beaches on the West Coast, an hour drive to Legoland, 40 minutes to Ribe - From Esbjerg you can take the ferry for a daytrip to Fanø.
