We are a married couple, who has lived in this house for the last 25 years.
Our kids grew up here.
I work as a psychologist, and Stig, my husband, as a pedagogue and familytherapist.
We are rather informal and relaxed - and so is our home !
In the summer of 2017 we joined the homelink organisation, and now we are looking forward to se, what new travelling experiences, it will bring.

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our terrace house is a part of a big old farm, which is transformed into 13 individual terrace houses.
The atmosphere here is friendly and open. You can easily get in touch with people, if that`s what you want, but on the other hand privacy is highly respected.
The house has two floors, and it`s rather small, 114 squaremeters alltogether, but there will still be 2 rooms with a double bed and one room with a single bed.
We welcome kid´s in our home, but be aware that there is no "kid-stuff" inside at all.
Outside there is a very big garden with old trees, a playground, a trampoline and a football-field. Theese facilities are for everyone to use.
Even if we are many people living closely together, our place is actually very quiet and peaceful.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We are situated in a small village, eight kilometres from the city of Kolding, in the southern part of Denmark.
In the village itself you will find a supermarked in the other end of town, about 3 kilometres from here.
In Kolding there are lot`s of shopping possibilities including a big shoppingcenter, " Kolding Storcenter"
The city offers plenty of activities and entertainments for boths grown ups and kids. It has for instance two great museums and a very nice playground called " Legeparken".
Four kilometres from our home there is a small local beach( never crowded) and about 8 kilometers drive from here, you will find several
nice beaches and a very big and beautiful forest with a lot of hiking possibilities.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Since Denmark is a small country, the main touristattractions is never far away.
Just to give you an idea :
"Legoland", a very big amusement- and water park, can be reaches within 45 minuttes in a car.
Odense, the homecity of the famous storyteller H.C. Andersen, within 1 hour
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, within 2½ hours.
Aarhus, in 2017 the European Capital of Culture, within 75 minuttes
...and throughout the country you will find lot`s of local attractions: small museums, nice cafes and restaurants with local products, plenty of nice sandy beaches, many amusements parks etc.
The nearest airport, Billund Airport, is 45 minuttes away.
Buses are running regulary from Billund Airport to Kolding, and from here you can catch another bus or a taxi to our house.
