Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is tastefully furnished with two bedrooms offering a king-sized bed in one and a double bed in the other. Master bedroom has a bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated floor. Second bathroom has a bathtub. Lovely formal living room and dining room with fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen with attached TV room and another fireplace. Patio doors lead to a large, private deck overlooking beautiful forested property. While enjoying this deck you can from time to time, watch deer, rabbits, eagles, hawks, and squirrels as well as various types of birds.

Our home is situated in an upscale, quiet and safe neighbourhood. Our community is called Hawthorn Hill and is comprised of 34 similar homes to ours. It is beautifully landscaped and maintained. You will find the neighbours to be friendly and welcoming but respectful of privacy.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Our home is an 8-10 minute walk to bus stops, a shopping centre with grocery store, restaurants, pharmacies, coffee shops, and banks. Closeby are many walking trails, a community pool and gym and public tennis courts. Within 20 to 30 minutes driving or bus you can enjoy the world famous Butchart Gardens or travel to downtown Victoria to explore the wonderful museum and many other tourist attractions. Whale Watching and ocean fishing are favourite attractions. A trip to Vancouver can be made using the ferry system or float planes. Our home is conveniently located close to the highway to travel downtown, to the airport, ferry terminal and also to travel north to explore Vancouver Island. Guests could enjoy our home and city without a vehicle by using public transit. However, a vehicle would be beneficial.
