Our south-facing 1972 house is full of sunshine and open spaces. Since we are at the top of a hill, we have a 180° view from our sunroom and deck with views of the ocean, the Olympic Mountains and many tree tops – although we are very close to downtown Victoria (30 minute walk), it feels like you are in the country when you are on our deck.

Our master bedroom is upstairs and we use the two other upstairs bedrooms as a studio and a computer room. There is a fourth bedroom downstairs and a pull out couch in one of the two living rooms. We have two bathrooms upstairs and one downstairs.

We are a 5 minute walk to the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Craigdarroch Castle and the Lieutenant Governor’s Residence and gardens / 20 minute walk to the ocean / 30 minute drive to the airport or ferries. Our neighbourhood is called Rockland and it is a very friendly and safe area of Victoria.

We are a retired, professional couple who love to travel. We have had several successful exchanges and have enjoyed them. Our schedules are very flexible; therefore, we are open to consider an exchange in any part of the world, even locally.
