Our lovely two-floor craftsman style character home is on a quiet street near lively Commercial Drive in East Vancouver. It has two bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), plus an upstairs office. The kitchen has a stove (including oven), fridge, dishwasher, and microwave and is well-equipped because we love to cook. There is a separate dining room, adjoined to the living room by glass doors. The bathroom has a full size bathtub and shower. The private backyard has a flagstone patio, and is a lovely, quiet place to dine in fine weather. We have cable TV and WIFI, and the office is equipped with a printer. I is a 5 minute walk to Commercial Drive, one of the liveliest and most popular streets in Vancouver, where you can find lots of restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and nightlife and a 10 walk to the Broadway skytrain station, which is a major transit hub for the city, providing easy access to downtown, universities, and the airport. Available for short-term rental Sept-Dec 2016.
