Quaint semi-detached century home in the quiet neighborhood of Corso Italia. There is a covered front porch and newly built back patio. The backyard and garden are private and full of green and life with a small grassy lawn for back yard picnics in the sun. There is a private parking pad, as well.
Inside, the house features a large sunny kitchen with a gas stove and oven and a dishwasher. The open concept living and dining area is perfect for entertaining. There are three bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen size bed, one with a crib, and one with two twin beds that can be combined into a single queen size bed if needed.
In the lower level you'll find plenty of storage space, a clothes washing machine and dryer, and a second bathroom with a shower.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Corso Italia is a warm and friendly neighborhood that is quiet but steps away from shops, restaurants, cafes, and public transit. The neighbourhood has many residents from Portugal and Italy who immigrated to Canada in the 50s, 60s and 70s. There are also many younger couples moving into the area to start families, like us.
The shops and restaurants along St Clair reflect this mix, with many Italian and Portuguese stores and restaurants, but also some new, fun bars restaurants and shops opening. Earlscourt Park is very large, with an outdoor pool, playground, tennis and basketball courts, a soccer pitch and a baseball diamond. The Community Centre next door has an indoor pool, a health centre and community spaces. There is also a public library down the street.
Getting around the city is easy. The St Clair streetcar (tram) is about a 10 minute walk and takes you to one subway line while the Rogers bus (2 minute walk) and Dufferin express bus (5 minute walk) take you to another subway line. There's also a bike lane along Rogers Rd and bike routes through the quiet local streets to take you anywhere you want to go. Downtown is about 40 minutes by public transit, 30 minutes by bike, and about 20-30 minutes by car/taxi.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From our house, it is a short walk to St Clair Avenue where you will find busy shops, restaurants, plenty of green space for picnics, and a new recreation center. A short bike ride or public transit ride and you can explore the whole city of Toronto, booming with live music, museums, galleries, trendy stores, bars, clubs and restaurants.
