Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

My 1920s semi-detached home is on an oak-lined street in a central/east area of Toronto known as the Upper Beaches. It is a 15-minute walk to Lake Ontario and a 3 km beach boardwalk, walking trails, Olympic pool and skateboard park. At the top of the street you can catch a streetcar that will connect you within 30 minutes to all that Toronto offers: theatre, music festivals, museums, art galleries, a vibrant food and restaurant culture, shopping, and sports events. Toronto is one of the safest and most diverse cities in the world, with its population reflecting more than 100 cultures and languages. Within two hours' driving distance are two wine-growing areas, Niagara Falls, the Stratford Shakespearean and Shaw Theatre Festivals, and a number of historic towns. You would be looking after the resident house cat, Gemma Jones, however, if you wanted to go on short trips, a friendly neighbour can care for her.
