Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Uxbridge (pop. 10,000) is known as the "Trail Capital" of Canada, - hundreds of miles of trails (including the Trans Canada) in and out of town for hiking, cross-country skiing, and biking.
Our Cape Cod style house sits on a 3/4 acre lot which includes a garden pond with waterfall and a patio pergola for outside dining. The house is 2-storeys, plus a fully finished basement with a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, and has two sun-rooms and a large covered back porch. A hot tub is on an upstairs deck off from the loft, which has pool table and fitness equipment.
Please be assured we will take very good care of your home, and we thank you for your consideration.
The use of our car (Toyota 4Runner Sport Utility Vehicle) is possible.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Uxbridge has a wonderful, welcoming, small-town atmosphere, but offers a lot of large town benefits - such as a very thriving arts community, including live theatre, a movie-theatre, a hospital (at the bottom of our street), a variety of restaurants and boutique shopping. Yet it is only a 45 minute drive to down-town Toronto, on a good day, and not during rush hour! Numerous golf courses are close-by.
