Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have a comfortable two-story home within 20 minutes of Toronto city centre in non rush hour. There are three bedrooms with a king-size bed, a queen-size bed, and a set of twin beds. Our kitchen has just been upgraded and the eating area looks out into our garden. The garden is quite private with a barbecue and dining area so you can enjoy the outdoors. Guests from our previous ten exchanges have enjoyed our library of books and the air conditioning in warmer weather.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our neighbourhood is quiet and located conveniently for grocery shopping. There are movie theatres close by along with two large shopping malls.
Toronto airport is only 15 minutes from our home and my son is usually available to meet you at the airport and then familiarize you with our home when you arrive. The main highways leading into the city or out of town are just minutes away making it convenient to get around.
There are also numerous parks nearby for walking and Lake Ontario with its walking paths and parks is close by.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Toronto is a very cosmopolitan city and has many lovely public parks and garden, museums, restaurants, theatres and sporting events. You can visit the Sky Dome to watch a baseball game or enjoy a delicious lunch in the revolving dining room at the top of the CN Tower.
There are numerous museums including the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Gardiner Museum of Ceramics, the Ontario Science Centre, the ROM or Royal Ontario Museum, CN tand the Bata Shoes Museum which are first class.
Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the Lake with the G.B.Shaw Festival and wine country are a little over an hour away. Explore the small towns and lakes in cottage country or the wilderness of Algonquin Park, or plan a trip to Ottawa, Canada's capital city. The Stratford Shakespearean Theatre, Marineland, Canada's Wonderland, Mennonite country, and Fort Henry in Kingston, are a just a few of the many attractions in southern Ontario. We have maps and brochures and picnic equipment to help you plan your day's adventure
