Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
HOMELINKING SINCE 1998
Our renovated beachfront home is complete with heated hardwood floors , gas fireplace and top of the line appliances and gourmet kitchen .You can enjoy sea life(whales, seal, otters, bald eagles, sea birds, )- all near our little sheltered bay. Spectacular. sunsets, friendly deer. Are a daily occurrence.It is peaceful & beautiful here.
The property is a beautiful setting just a few metres (yards) away from the ocean and facing the sunsets.lots of beach combing possible. The island is home to many artists and crafts people and is a wonderful place for hiking and other outdoor activities.
We have a studio behind the house that has a queen bed and bathroom that make up the third bedroom /4th bathroom (the total of 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms).
We are open to making plans into the following year, if you wish.
We are just a 30 minute ferry ride to Victoria, our provincial capital but a comfortable small city. So daily visits are possible but staying for a couple of days there makes it easier to enjoy the town.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Pender has many different ,well kept forest walks ranging from challenging to an easy and peaceful stroll.
We are known as the Arts Island as we have so many creative, talented artists. They are very happy to have you visit them in their homes/studios as well as visiting the galleries here.
Pender doesn't have a lot of restaurants but the sushi restaurant and the pub have very good food.
Salmon fishing is possible from here ( often with our friends offer as they enjoy meeting visitors!) . We have two kayaks that can be launched easily off our beach. (If you are not comfortable with being on your own, you are able to go on kayaking tours with a company here that will take into account your level and instruct you as well. )The golf course is very reasonably priced and is challenging but fun. ( you may use our clubs). There is a tennis court nearby that you have to pay a couple of dollars to use. We leave extensive information at the house for you to look at with regards to attractions
