Verdun is the perfect balance between a bustling city life and a laid back local feel. Verdun's commercial street, Wellington St., has a lot to offer (microbrewery, independent coffee shops, book store, a great selection of restaurants serving brunch/dinners, and so on). Verdun is the only central neighbourhood to give Montrealers a real access to the St-Lawrence River. One of the most well kept secret of Verdun are its jetties on the River from where you can relax and swim (yes!). You can also rent kayaks and paddle boats to enjoy the River. Oh! And beach will open in August 2017! All of that within walking distance from our place, and 15-20 from downtown.
