Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Ours is a modern 3000 square foot West Coast style house. Upstairs master bedroom has king size bed with large walk-in closet, ensuite Jacuzzi tub and rain shower. Two additional bedrooms have queen sized beds and share a three piece bathroom. Downstairs consists of sunken living room and family room, formal dining room, large modern kitchen with dining area, a separate music/office room and utility area with washroom. A large deck with views over Quamichan Lake and the Cowichan Valley are perfect for admiring amazing West Coast sunsets.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We are located on Southern Vancouver Island in the Cowichan Valley (www.cowichan.bc.ca). The nearest town of Duncan is located 6 kms away and has a good selection of restaurants, pubs and shopping. We are located approximately 60 minutes from the provincial capital Victoria and a similar distance from the other major city of Nanaimo.
Our house is situated on Mount Tzouhalem with views of Quamichan Lake, Mount Prevost and the Cowichan Valley. The valley is renowned for its vineyards, fly fishing, hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking and golf, all of which are within easy access of our house. Skiing is available at Mount Washington approximately two hours away. The Gulf Islands are a ferry ride away for day trips and Vancouver is 1.5 hours by ferry from Nanaimo or a 20 minute float plane ride from Maple Bay.
Maple Bay village is a five minute drive or a twenty minute walk. Here you can swim and visit the local pub or restaurant.
