Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Victoria, the capital of B.C., is a favourite destination in the province. (It's size and climate is very close to that of Christchurch. It offers many excellent restaurants, Imax theatre, outstanding museum and many other attractions on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. There is easy access to the United States via one of two ferry routes, one just 32km across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Mount Washington offers fine skiing via a day trip up the island. Rugged beaches, walking trails, cycling trails and more are easily reached from our place.
