Ideaal gelegen voor wie naast Mechelen (natuurlijk) ook bv. Leuven, Brussel en Antwerpen wil bezoeken. Wat we ook deden.

We hebben heel erg genoten van een verlengd weekendje Mechelen. Het gezellige huis is tip top in orde en voorzien van alle comfort. De sauna in de tuin is een leuke extra! De woning ligt op een ideale uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. De communicatie met Anke en Peter verliep correct en heel vlot. Kortom: fantastisch!

We've had a nice short stay in this great home, near the centre of Mechelen (beautiful old city in the middle of Belgium). The house is very modern and has all you need. The garden is large and modern too, and it wat nice relaxing there in the sun. The communication with Peter and Anke was very easy. Thanks again for letting us stay in your house. When we got the invitation from our exchange family, we were very happy. We always wanted to go on holiday in Belgium - and Mechelen is not only a sweet little place, but also centrally located and therefore the perfect starting point for day trips to Ostend, Antwerp, Brussels, Bruges, Ghent or Wallonia. We particularly liked Gent. If you ask the children, they would recommend the climbing park in Wavre or the corn labyrinth in Durbuy. And - not to forget - the pool in the garden of the exchange family :) A special experience was also the supply of the house's own chicken. We were welcomed very warmly by the grandmother of the family. The cat also showed up once a day. We spent a wonderful time, many thanks again to Anke, Peter, Lidewij and Wendel!
