We spent an unforgettable two weeks in Elizabeth and Christian's historic house on the water. It was an extraordinary and unique experience for us. The house was comfortable enough and we felt good in it. In hot June we spent evenings on the terrace, admiring mountain panorama and the sunsets. We visited the wonderful region of Salzkammergut and even made further trips, for example an escapade to the Grossglockner glacier area. The region also has great opportunities for hiking, along scenic routes leading from the upper cableway stations. And, of course, we also visited the world-famous Salzburg, extraordinary city. During the exchange we had a nice contact with Elizabeth and Christian. Thank you for the opportunity to get to know your wonderful region of Austria, it was a fascinating holiday in Mondsee and will always remain in our memory. Magda and Krzysztof with family

Soo schön war es wieder, in eurem wunderbaren Bootshaus zu sein, den Sommer zu genießen und den See zu erleben. Vielen Dank an euch, es war alles perfekt vorbereitet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

We had a very good time directly ON the lake: it is an old house in wood, on stilt. The confort is simple but sufficiant. There is no washing machine but since the exchange was about 2 weeks the family offered to make a wash for us. We had a very good welcome from the rest of the family there. We could use the boat & windsurf and had a great time there. The surrounding is also very interesting both for nature and for culture (Salzburg is close by car). It was a great exchange.
