Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are a small but active community on the Fraser Coast Queensland looking at Fraser Island, a world Heritage Site. Cross the road you are at the water. Great fishing, calm water.
Our home is designed for outdoor living with a pavilion surrounded by beautiful gardens. Bask in the sunshine around our private pool. Quiet, relaxing friendly community.You are welcome to join in with daily events held at our community hall and get to meet the locals. You can join in with a game of tennis or a games night , maybe trivia or craft, maybe yoga , Take a walk around our beautiful bay and have a chat along the way.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We are a small community of around 400 people.We are a very friendly community with a community hall which has something happening daily for everyone. You can ride bicycles around the streets at your own pace.Stroll along the beach,take a swim and enjoy the peaceful nature while the birds sing their beautiful songs. See the kangaroos in their natural environment .The Australian wildlife is everywhere for you to enjoy. The shopping is a 25minute drive into Maryborough.

Fraser Island is a world heritage listed area and close by.Rainbow beach is famous for the coloured sands and is about 45 mins drive.
The beginning of The Great Barrier Reef is off Bundaberg at Lady Elliot Island and is a short flight from Hervey Bay which is about a 1hour drive from Poona. The Sunshine Coast is a must visit area with Australia Zoo close by.Our local town is Maryborough which is full of heritage listed buildings and has some fantastic Australian architecture .Beautiful old homes ,Queenslanders as they are called ,high set homes.
