Lovely quiet suburb with access to train and walking distance to village. Brisbane city 40 mins by train. Surfers Paradise with beautiful golden beaches 1 1/2 hrs away and Noosa with naturel treasures 1 hr away. Locally you have the foreshores of Moreton Bay at Shorncliffe/Sandgate with lots of cycling and walking tracks and beach side BBQ facilities, yacht club and fishing. Local music and art scene flourishes here.Friendly vibe suspended in more serene times. Visit the trawlers and pick up fresh seafood or peruse the local fresh food markets on Wednesday and Sunday mornings in Sandgate. We know you will love our area.
