Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Robertson is a delightful village and an ideal base for the traveller, being only an hour and a half drive south of Sydney and two and a half hours to Canberra. We are less than 40 minutes to beaches and the city of Wollongong and 25 minutes to other town centres. Robertson itself has cafes, restaurant, galleries, Music Society, a pub and the usual small town shops and amenities. It is close to National Parks and the scenic drives in any direction give you so many choices of activity from wining and dining, museums, bush walks and swimming, canoeing to high adventure. Google Illawarra and Southern Highlands for more ideas.
Our cedar home is surrounded by rainforest in a quiet rural setting, five minutes from Robertson.
The upstairs main bedroom has panoramic views over valleys of the Great Dividing Range and grazing lands. The en suite looks down into our rainforest. The balcony is just the spot for stargazing. Downstairs the living, dining and kitchen areas all have views into our rainforest.
The guest rooms have their own bathroom, both have double beds. One looks into the sunny entry courtyard and the loft bedroom catches the morning sun. The kitchen and laundry are modern and well equipped. The large groundfloor screened verandahs are great for barbecues and have views into the rainforest, with glimpses of the valleys below.
