Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are open to suggestions for travel and look forward to hearing from you. Our apartment is close to the Cairns Esplanade and the large patio looks over sports fields towards Mt Whitfield. It is only a 5 minute drive to the city and 20 minute drive to northern beaches. We are non-smokers.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with 2 queen beds and 2 single beds. There is a portable cot available for use if required. The living area includes a smart LCD TV and DVD player. Complimentary wifi is included.
We are 5 minute drive to International and Domestic Airport, 20 minutes to Reef Fleet Terminal for boats to the Great Barrier Reef, Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, Kuranda scenic rail, bungy jumping and cablewaterskiing. With the beautiful rainforest as our backdrop and the Great Barrier Reef on our doorstep, this is the perfect location for a tropical holiday.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our apartment is located one block from the beautiful Cairns Esplanade. The Esplanade is approximately 5km long with cycle and walking paths leading to the city along the foreshore. Within walking distance there are a post office, bank, news agency and convenience store and restaurants/cafes. The Toobruk Memorial pool is in the sporting complex opposite. It offers Olympic distance pool, heated pool, wading pool and a wave pool. The Cairns Botanic gardens are also walking distance and are well renowned with specialist greenhouse and butterflies.
