Our little town is home to a thriving arts and farming community. It is surrounded by open country and has several national parks close by. There are restaurants and a good pub within easy walking distance as well as art galleries, antique and craft shops and cafes. There are lots of bushwalks nearby, a nine-hole golf course and a swimming hole on the beautiful Shoalhaven River 7kms from town. It is an easy one-hour drive to all the cultural events and sights in the national capital and to the magnificent beaches on the NSW South Coast. The ski resorts of the Southern Alps can be reached in under two hours drive.
