Lakefront fishing lodge in central highlands of Tasmania, surrounded by prime trout-fishing waters. Australian wildlife and birds abound.
Bradys Lake is close to the geographic centre of Tasmania and a 40min drive to Lake St Clair National Park, the end point of the iconic Overland Track.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

Located in a small lakeside community of about 50 Tasmanian ‘shacks’ in the central highlands. We are roughly 2hrs drive from either Hobart or Launceston and halfway to the west coast ( Queenstown and Strahan). There is a cafe, highland restaurant and small golf course about 15 mins drive away at Tarraleah.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home

We are close to the centre of Tasmania amongst dozens of lakes and about 40mins drive from the iconic Lake St Clair NP where you can hike, fish or just visit the cafe and visitor centre. ‘The Wall’ at nearby Derwentbridge is a unique gallery of artwork in the form of wooden panels describing the history, flora and fauna of Tasmania in an awe- inspiring building.
