Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is located in the center of West Berlin, near the subway station Güntzelstrasse. There is:
a large kitchen, combined with living room
2 big bedrooms (one of them is a studio with a small kitchen and a toilet)
a kids‘ room with a large double-deck bed, lots of toys and a swing
a small room with a sleeping couch and a desk.
The apartment is in an old turn-of-the-century house with high ceilings and a cozy court-yard.
There is a lot of hand-made decor.
The neighborhood is kids-friendly, with several playgrounds nearby. There are 3 supermarkets, a bakery, a pharmacy, a drug-store, a several restaurants and cafes right across the street.
There are 3 subway stations nearby, and you walk to the heart of West Berlin in less than 30 min.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
You can walk to the heart of West Berlin in less than 30 minutes (or take a 2-stop subway ride). I would recommend walking down the beautiful Fasanenstraße, and maybe visit the historic Literary Cafe on the way. Then, you arrive at the magnificent Kurfürstendamm boulevard with the famous Memorial Church
and lots of shopping opportunities. The Berlin Zoo is right there as well.
Also, I would recommend to walk to the lovely Viktoria-Luise-Platz square and the lively Akazienstrasse with lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
Our home is equipped for kids, but not for babies and toddlers. Of course, you can come with an infant, but, pls, keep in mind that the apartment is not baby-proof anymore (our boys are 9 and 11 years old already).
We have 2 cats (one of them is super-friendly, the other one is quite timid). So, you will need to take of them (give them food, water and clean their toilets). It's okay if you come with your dog, but only if they are not aggressive towards cats.
Loud parties are not allowed.
