Great experience in Ho Chi Minh City! Beyond our expectations. We liked the city a lot. The people are friendly and attentive to foreigners. The food good. Everything went perfectly thanks also to the advice of the hosts. District 7 where Peter and Frederique live is a very beautiful, quiet neighborhood, with very beautiful houses and buildings, with all services. The apartment is luxurious, very well furnished with all comforts, including the swimming pool. The view from the terrace is magnificent over the river. I highly recommend this exchange. It was our first time in Asia and it will be always memorable. We traveled a lot in Vietnam and were also been in Cambodia to visit Ankor Wat. Vietnam and Cambodia are very beautiful countries with many atractions. We could visit only a small number of all. Vietnam, Cambodia and the Mekong are incredible, beautiful, exciting and breathtaking. Ankor Wat is matchless. Peter and Frederique have a driver and they arranged, that he picks us up at the airport, every time we arrived in Ho chi Mhin City and he brought us to the airport when we started our trip to the north of Vietnam. The driver brought us also to our destinations in the Mekong delta. Sometimes distances of nearly 300 kms, only one way. And every time when we came back from our journeys, our clothes are finished washed and prepared for our next trip. Special thanks for Mr. Nam and Mrs. Ha. For us it was a great trip. We had a great month in Vietnam, using this great apartment in Saigon district 7 as a base. We arrived, got ourselves settled, and were able to come and go up and down the country. The beds were very comfortable, the bookshelves well stocked, and their is a nice small kitchen or visit any of the dozens of great restaurants nearby. We thought that there were more French patisseries nearby than our last stay in France? We would very much recommend Peter and Frederique to swap with, they are excellent communicators, and very helpful.

This luxury appartment, located into a western oasis deattached from the crowded city center, with its wonderful and charming luxury decoration, including african artscrafts and oriental furnitures, swimming pool, all possibilities for air conditioning, and a beautiful terrace with magnificent views over the river channels, made us decide sometimes just to relax at home enjoying the views and the delicious food that we just brought upstairs from the restaurants in couple of minutes walk away, and made our visit to Saigon much more comfortable than expected, leaving in us unforgottable memories of the wonderful house.

We were glad of the opportunity to relax in Peter & Frederique's beautiful apartment in Saigon, especially after two weeks of touring Vietnam. The luxury of air-conditioning, a swimming pool, maid and driver were much appreciated - even if communications with the latter were conducted through Google Translates!
