Description of the home we are offering for exchange
HomeLinker since 2009
Our home is located in the small town of Sequim, WA close to mountains (the Olympic National Park) & water (lakes, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Pacific Ocean).
This contemporary house has 2 bedrooms (master bedroom has a Queen bed & attached bath. The other bedroom has a full-sized Murphy bed & separate bath). The kitchen is well equipped. This house is built around a private and peaceful open center courtyard that includes a patio, pond w/fountain & gardens. There is also a sunny pergola at the entrance to the house with seating and barbeque grill. There are many bird feeders and nesting boxes on the property. The house is 1,500 SF (138 square meters).
The area is known for hiking, kayaking, & natural beauty. A great area for birding with mountain, water & ocean birds. There are 4 tribal nations located in the county. It is also known for its exquisite starry nights & low rainfall amounts.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We live in a quiet rural neighborhood and at the end of a cul de sac. The Dungeness River tree line is at the end of the street (salmon migrate up the river in the fall). The house looks out on the Olympic Mountains. The area is known as one of the areas of the world with the cleanest air and water.
There is an abundance of local seafood as well as organic vegetables in the area. There is a variety of ethnic restaurants as well.
