We are a Swottish (Swedish/Scottish) family of four, living in lovely Peebles again after 7 years on the Isle of Gotland, Sweden. Hospitality is in our blood - we were running a hostel on Gotland and are currently managing a few letting properties. What else do we like? Folk/jazz music (Richard is a bagpiper and we are all keen singers). We enjoy cooking real food. We are fixer uppers. We really enjoy to learn about animals and nature.
We are very much looking forward to the HomeLink Adventure!

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
St Margaret's is in the centre of Peebles, across the road from the River Tweed with a small back garden leading out to the 15 acre Victoria Park.
It´s just a short walk from the High Street where you'll find great places to eat, drink and shop. There are any beautiful walks down the river. The mecca for mountain biking, Glentress, is just a short drive away. Peebles for Pleasure!

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
The town of Peebles is renown for it's independent shops, bakers, butchers, delis, restaurants and pubs. The High Street (within a five minute walk) is often voted Scotland's best High Street. The highly regarded Eastgate Theatre is a five minute walk away. It is firmly on the Scottish circuit for some surprisingly famous entertainers and shows. Peebles for Pleasure!
