We are a married couple of 48 years. Joe managed the Hawai’i Convention Center until he retired in 2013. Linda is active in San Diego’s Point Loma community and was formerly a teacher’s aide. We settled back in San Diego, the birthplace of our 3 children.

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
This lovely and beautifully light home has world class finishes and technology features of Ethernet, Wifi, and cable throughout. Our 2,200 square foot 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is located in one of San Diego’s finest neighborhoods called Point Loma. The kitchen, as well both bathrooms, are top notch. The Master bedroom opens up through double doors onto our landscaped and private yard. We are minutes from beaches. A large community park, playground, and garden is accessible through our private gate. The middle bedroom (we call it our Zen Den) has 2 twin beds with television. The front bedroom offers a queen size bed, an office desk, computer, printer, and television. There are 3 interior fireplaces and 1 as a focal of 1 of sitting areas in the backyard. We lived in Honolulu, Hawai’i for 13 years and have incorporated many Hawaiian and Asian arts features. San Diego’s attractions include, and certainly not limited, to the famous San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Old Town, and Balboa Park’s theaters and museums. Safari Park and LegoLand are a short drive away, as are the deserts and mountains. The culinary and art scene in San Diego is as good as it gets.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We live in a delightful San Diego community called Point Loma. We are ideally located with ready access to San Diego downtown, beaches, destinations and attractions. Within walking distance is an upscale grocery, pharmacy, dry cleaners, a coffee shop, and deli. We have a private gate that provides access to a large community park, garden, and a children’s playground. We are close to the Point Loma Nazarene College where art and music events are open to the public. A short 5 minute drive leads to the end of the Point Loma peninsula where you may enter
the Cabrillo National Park with views of the Pacific Ocean, San Diego Harbor, Coronado, and Mexico. San Diego has so much to offer include the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, the USS Midway, the Maritime Museum, the Old Globe Theatre, the many attractions in Balboa Park, and so much more. We are only an hour from mountains and deserts. San Diego’s diverse population has given rise to fantastic culinary options.
